PECS, or the Picture Exchange Communication System, is a very
popular method of alternative communication for children with
autism.
For help implementing a PECS program, below are some

Autism Products Store:
located on this site, find some great resources to implement or
expand your PECS program! Find them under the "PECS Resources"
category.
GroceryPecs.com:
This site that has pictures of thousands of common grocery store
products that you can download. The download is a single file
containing the entire collection plus instructions. There is a
fee for the download.
ToyPecs.com: Brought to
you by the same people as GroceryPecs.com, this site contains a
single download file containing over 1,000 pictures of common and
popular toys. There is a fee for the download.
DVDpecs from
GroceryPecs.com: Over 500 pictures of favorite children's
DVD titles. Currently (July 2008) the download file is
FREE, but it does not say for how long it will remain so. A
good opportunity to check out their quality without spending
anything.
